My BOYS!!

How grateful I am to have 3 wonderful boys!
It's hard for me to believe that my little boys have already grown into handsome Young Men!
In church today we had a lesson on how we can teach our children to "Stand for Truth and Righteousness"! The whole purpose of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I feel, is to prepare Heavenly Father's children to return to their Heavenly Home! As we realize this, the importance of family life becomes so obvious. What an awesome responsibility for parents? I have a GREAT family -- but we have all kinds of room for improvement. I am going to try a little harder to have a happy, safe, stable, loving home my family wants to come home to (as I'm sitting here ALL alone tonight) -- I don't think it's because no one wants to be here -- but even so -- I am going to try a little harder! "Children are the promise of the future. They are the future itself." (I think President Hinckley said this.) President Harold B. Lee once said, "Teach your little children while they are at your knee and they will grow up to be stalwart. They may stray away, but your love and your faith will bring them back." It's a tad bit late to be teaching my "little" children but hope that my "big" children have listened to what they have been taught and will continue to be taught so that we will be a Forever Family! I am so very grateful for my family -- and pray that through Heavenly Father's plan, we will be TOGETHER FOREVER!!

My Daughter and Me!

I know, I know -- you are SHOCKED that I put a picture of me on my blog! But I had to put this one on -- this is a picture of my adorable daughter, who is FAR FAR FAR away and her MOMMY!! I LOVE YOU Andrea!

The Cheesecake Factory!

Back in May we went to the Cheesecake Factory for Andrea's birthday! I just had to show you all Kennady and Taylor's meals -- supposedly they were kids meals! The funny thing is -- Kennady, who normally doesn't eat a thing, ate pretty much ALL of her french fries.

YUMMY!! We love the Cheesecake Factory!

Where Did The Summer Go?

I love Summertime and am ALWAYS sad when it is over!
But just take a look at this picture and it will make you SMILE and
remember all the HAPPY times you had this Summer!!

Remember this Primary song??

Oh what do you do in the summertime, when all the world is green?
Do you fish in a stream, or lazily dream on the banks as the clouds go by?
Is that what you do?
So do I!

Off to England!!

And they're off!!
This is the Howard Family at the airport and ready to go through security!
Robert and I had to laugh because Andrea's RED carry-on was searched.
Everytime we go anywhere on a plane it is the red bag that gets searched.
Moral of the story is -- don't carry on a RED bag!!
(I'll have to get some new luggage before I go to visit!)
They confiscated Andrea's hairspray but other than that I think things went pretty smooth!
Well -- adios, auf wiedersehen, good-bye to my little shadow and her family!
I Love and Miss you all!!

Grandma and Lovin' It!

It's such a grand thing to become a mother of a mother --
that's why the world calls us "Grand"mothers! I love being a Grandma!
